A one-day capacity-building seminar titled “Workshop on Identifying Reputable Journals and Publishing International Articles” was held for university faculty members.

This seminar took place on Tuesday, 3 Sonbola 1404, organized by the Office of the Deputy for Scientific Research and the Directorate of Planning and Professional Development. Its objectives were to enhance the academic and research capabilities of faculty members, familiarize them with reputable international journals, and strengthen their skills in drafting research papers for international publication. The session was conducted by Dr. Lotf-ur-Rahman Aftab, a specialist in journals and conferences at the Ministry of Higher Education’s Directorate of Research, Authorship, and Translation.

The workshop facilitator presented scientific and practical information regarding the identification of reputable journals and the process of publishing international articles, while also addressing questions from the participants. Faculty members and a number of professors from Dawat University attended the event and benefited from the material presented.

Dawat University officials regarded the hosting of such educational programs as an effective step toward strengthening the research culture, enhancing faculty research capacity, and improving the quality of scientific publications; they emphasized the importance of continuing such academic and professional initiatives. The university’s Office of Scientific Research affirmed its commitment to continuing these types of educational programs.
