A one-day capacity-building workshop on “Writing and Supervising Research Theses” was held for university faculty members.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Research and the Department of Planning and Professional Development, this workshop took place on Tuesday, 8 Sonbola 1404. It was conducted by Dr. Seyed Akbar Sajjadi, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, following an assessment and critical review of thesis quality. The event aimed to enhance the academic and research capabilities of faculty members, familiarize them with thesis-writing methodologies, and strengthen their skills in supervising students.<\/p>\n
The workshop facilitator presented scientific and practical information regarding the preparation of monographs and the standard guidelines for them, while also addressing questions from the participants. Faculty members and a number of professors from Dawat University attended the event and benefited from the material presented.<\/p>\n
Dawat University officials regarded the hosting of such educational programs as an effective step toward strengthening the research culture, enhancing faculty research capacity, and improving the quality of scholarly publications; they emphasized the importance of continuing these academic and professional initiatives.
