At the beginning of the event, Dr. Shirali Zarifi, President of Dawat University, delivered the keynote address. After welcoming the participants, he emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical and practical knowledge within the higher education system, noting that such programs are essential and effective for enhancing students’ academic and professional capabilities. He stated that providing practical opportunities plays a crucial role in preparing students to enter specialized and professional fields.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, a mock trial concerning a murder case was conducted by students from the Faculty of Law and Political Science. In this event, students assumed various roles\u2014such as judge, prosecutor, defense attorney, defendant, and other parties to the case\u2014and demonstrated the various stages of judicial proceedings in a practical manner, adhering to legal principles and regulations; the performance was well-received by the participants.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Seyed Akbar Sajjadi, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, expressed his appreciation to the professors, students, and other attendees, and commended the students for their successful and professional performance.
